What does this change mean for the existing RecruitHire community? For the Dayak community?
This will benefit both communities. RecruitHire is new—the first public beta launched earlier this year in July. With several hundred existing users, combined with Dayak’s users, we are building a large community of employers and recruiters. RecruitHire is a networking tool that cuts down the inefficiencies of the recruiting process, so having more users benefits everyone.
Can I use my existing Dayak account to log in to RecruitHire? When will my account be converted?
Yes! We’ve already made the necessary modifications behind the scenes to allow you to use your Dayak account to log in to RecruitHire, starting immediately. You’ll log in using your existing credentials: the email address you registered with Dayak and your Dayak password.
If you already had an account with both Dayak and RecruitHire using the same email address, the accounts have been merged, and you’ll continue to use your RecruitHire password to login.
How does this change affect the privacy of my personal information?
RecruitHire remains committed to the safety and security of your personal information. We respect your privacy, and your account is protected by our Privacy Policy, which is available at http://www.recruithire.com/index/privacy/.
Former Dayak users are now subject to the RecruitHire Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (available at http://www.recruithire.com/Terms%20of%20Use.pdf). If you choose, you may opt out of these changes by cancelling your RecruitHire account and discontinuing use of the site.
How is the functionality of RecruitHire different from Dayak? What will change and how?
Much of the basic functionality is the same. However we have some clear advantages that benefit both our employer and recruiter communities. For example, our rating system allows employers to rank and rate recruiters according to the level of work they have done. That allows our network to grow as large as possible without slowing anything down. Great recruiters will get more work and poor recruiters will have to improve their performance. RecruitHire also offers a free standalone applicant tracking system with auto-matching AI to radically accelerate the placement process.
Will I still be able to share candidates and openings with other recruiters?
Yes! RecruitHire has a Recruit Split Network (separate from our employer job listings).
How much does it cost to use RecruitHire?
Employers: There is no cost to the employer to use RecruitHire. No start up cost or monthly fees. Nothing, zero, it is absolutely FREE.
Recruiters: RecruitHire is a free service. There are no up front costs, membership fees or hidden fee structures. Any qualified recruiter is welcome to use our service.
How does RecruitHire make money?
Every time a successful placement is made RecruitHire keeps 15% of the placement fee and delivers 85% directly to the successful recruiter. Recruiters who refer or are referred by enterprise solutions will be eligible for significantly higher placement fee percentages. Employers will continue to pay recruiting fees as usual but will experience a more efficient and timely outcome from the recruiting process.
How are fees determined between Employers and Recruiters?
Employers set the rate at which they are comfortable paying fees for recruiter services. The typical fee structure is anywhere from 15% to 35% of first year compensation. Fees will vary from industry to industry. In Information Technology fields the average fee is approximately 20%–in the financial/banking industry the average fee is closer to 30%. Varying levels of efforts on the part of the recruiter will command varying fees. Also keep in mind, particularly difficult searches will require higher fees.
Should I expect a change in customer service?
If anything, the experience will be better! We’re committed to making RecruitHire the best experience possible for both employers and recruiters. Let us know how we can help!
What will happen to my existing Dayak listings? What about outstanding payments?
Existing Dayak listing and payments have all been reconciled.
Will I still make as much money as a recruiter through RecruitHire?
Because of the size of our network, and because we keep our fees at current market values, a good recruiter should make significantly more money using RecruitHire than through the old Dayak model.
