This week RecruitHire is exhibiting at the 2009 Online Recruiting Expo in Chicago. Conference topics include using web 2.0 and social media in your online recruitment efforts – which ties in perfectly to the RecruitHire online recruiting system. Check out the conference at http://www.therecruitingconference.com, and be sure to visit RecruitHire at Booth #203.
In conjunction with the show, RecruitHire officially launched their next generation online recruiting tool. Built by recruiters with more than 40 years of experience, RecruitHire offers the tools and functionality necessary to match a candidate with an open position across town or across country in as little as 72 hours.
RecruitHire`s online recruitment management system offers several distinct benefits over competing services, including:
* Recruiter Ranking and Reputation, a system that rewards recruiters for supplying good candidates who progress in the hiring process.
* Candidate Profiles completed by recruiters that require more detail than a resume, giving the employer peace of mind knowing the recruiter knows the candidate well.
* A Customizable Message Center that allows both recruiters and employers to streamline the recruiting process by creating their own personal online recruiting management system.

Last time we showed you how to find and monitor postings on the Job Order tab. Today we’re going to introduce you to a feature that sets RecruitHire apart from other recruiting sites - the Split Network. Access the Split Network by logging into www.RecruitHire.com, and then click on the Split Network tab.
Splits are a unique feature of RecruitHire - they allow you, as a recruiter, to post positions that need to be filled. These positions are kept separate from the employer Job Orders, and they will not appear on the regular job boards. But upon entering the Split Network tab, other recruiters will be able to find your job postings.

There are three options:
Search Splits: You can search other recruiter job postings by keyword, industry, and job function.
Create New Split: Post new splits here – they are created the same way employers create positions. You will provide information about the position, the recruitment fee, compensation, requirements, etc.
Manage My Splits: This feature is identical to managing your job orders under the Job Orders tab.
Quick Tip: To see a short demonstration of the split network, visit http://www.recruithire.com/clientrecruiter/splitnetworkdemo/.

Quick tip: If you know a recruiter who likely has a good candidate for your position, send them a direct message. Perhaps they haven’t seen the job posting yet, and you can build the relationship and point them to the posting with a quick message.

It’s time to organize your job orders with RecruitHire. Last time we talked about how to search for jobs on RecruitHire. Today we’re going to talk about how to effectively monitor job orders.
Once you have logged into www.RecruitHire.com, click on the Job Orders tab. On this tab you will see Current Job Orders that are actively recruiting and Pending Job Orders that will begin the hiring process soon. Both tabs provide the following information:
- Job ID and Job Title: Identifies the job posting by name and its individual RecruitHire ID number.
- Employer’s Last Login: Allows you to monitor how recently the hiring company has viewed this posting on RecruitHire.
- Active Recruiters: Indicates how many recruiters are working on this job posting.
- Candidates: Shows how many candidates are being considered for the position, and how many of the candidates are yours.
- Fees: Indicates the fee attached to a successful placement from the employer.
- Action: Allows you to quickly act on a specific job order. From here you can quickly submit another applicant for the position.

The Job Orders tab is an efficient way to monitor and act on positions on RecruitHire.
Quick Tip: A color coding system makes it easy to see when an employer last logged in to view their open position on RecruitHire. Grey means it has been more than 4 days since the employer logged in, red indicates it has been between 2 and 4 days, and green indicates activity has occurred within the last 2 days.
